MAIN RESPONSIBILITY 1. Operate and monitor boilers, steam systems, pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment. 2. Start up, shut down, and regulate boiler operations according to production requirements. 3. Maintain proper boiler water levels, steam pressure, and operating temperatures. 4. Conduct routine inspections and identify abnormalities or equipment failures. 5. Monitor control panels, gauges, meters, and alarm systems. 6. Perform water treatment and water quality testing to ensure boiler efficiency. 7. Record operating parameters, maintenance activities, and daily logs. 8. Perform minor maintenance and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team. 9. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, statutory requirements, and environmental regulations. 10. Respond to emergencies, equipment breakdowns, and abnormal operating conditions. 11. Maintain housekeeping standards in the boiler room and utility areas. 12. Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs. OTHER RESPONSIBILITY 1. Boiler uptime and availability. 2. Fuel consumption and energy efficiency. 3. Compliance with safety and environmental standards. 4. Reduction in boiler-related breakdowns. 5. Preventive maintenance completion rate. 6. Accuracy of operational records and reports.
