Key Responsibilities: Monitor daily cash position across multiple plantation sites, mills, and corporate accounts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations. Lead cash flow forecasting processes, incorporating seasonal harvest cycles, fertilizer purchases, and capital expenditures. Coordinate fund transfers between Head Office and remote operational units (e.g., estate, mill), ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage and maintain banking relationships; negotiate favorable terms and fees with partner banks. Oversee payment process for vendors, suppliers, and payroll (especially for remote plantation workers) while ensuring alignment with internal controls. Evaluate and optimize working capital strategies in line with crop cycles and commodity price movements. Ensure proper reconciliation and reporting of cash activities, including remote petty cash monitoring. Review and improve internal procedures for cash disbursement, security, and reporting from remote units. Lead the implementation or improvement of treasury systems and digital tools for more efficient cash operations. Coordinate with operations, procurement, and project teams to align cash requirements with business priorities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CTP/CFA is an advantage). At least 7-10 years of experience in cash or treasury management, preferably in plantation, agribusiness, or remote operations environment. Strong understanding of plantation business cycles, harvest planning, and cost structures. Proficiency in SAP systems and treasury tools. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and risk awareness. Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination and vendor/bank communication. Willingness to occasionally travel to sites, if required. Placement in Head Office.
