Overview The position will hold role as I&C Engineer for Indonesia where the person will be responsible for the leadership of the instrumentation & control development role, reporting directly to Head of Facility. Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining, managing and administering software, hardware and network communication of BMS, DCIM/EMS, and CPMS. Create, review and/or provide feedback on BMS, DCIM/EMS, and CPMS procedures and processes. Conduct analyses, facility controlling & monitoring procedure to improve Data Center facility efficiency and performance. Continuously improve Data Center’s Instrumentation, Control, and Automation system for a better availability, reliability, and efficiency target. Dealing with event and incidents related to BMS DCIM, and CPMS. Develop, provide, and support Customer BMS’s point requirement. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Automation, Instrumentation, Control, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines). Minimum 4 years of experience as an Instrumentation & Control Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, BMS Design Engineer, or equivalent in Data Centers, Process Industries, or Oil & Gas. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and work under demanding time constraints. Knowledge of IT infrastructure. Programming skills in PLC, SCADA, Web, Database, Mobile Apps, Dashboards, Python, and C++. Good understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), data center energy efficiency, and related control systems, including HVAC, lighting, access control, pneumatic controls, mechanical control systems, and emergency backup systems. Familiar with local electrical and control system design codes. General knowledge of mechanical systems (pumps, compressors, chillers, HVAC, etc.) and electrical systems (UPS, standby generators, switchgear, etc.). Working knowledge of field instrumentation, including temperature, pressure, and flow devices used in automation systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Knowledge of L1/L2/L3 Ethernet switching environments and related protocols. Knowledge of building load calculations, BMS design to improve data center PUE, and hands-on experience troubleshooting BMS controllers and I/O devices, identifying SPOFs, and recommending system improvements. Experience in designing, programming, or configuring BMS platforms, such as Niagara and/or Schneider EBO, is an advantage.
