MIDSTREAM Planning Lead will be responsible for overseeing all planning and scheduling activities for an onshore gas plant EPCIC project. This role will ensure the development, integration, monitoring, and reporting of the project master schedule across engineering, procurement, construction, Offshore Installation and commissioning phases. Based in Jakarta, the role requires close coordination and collaboration with contractors, internal stakeholders and project management team to ensure project milestones are achieved. MIDSTREAM Planning Lead is expected to lead and mentor a team of planners, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to best practices in project planning and controls. The position plays a critical role in identifying schedule risks, mitigating delays, and supporting timely project delivery within agreed timelines. Job Description: Lead planning coordination exercise between engineering, procurement, construction, offshore installation and commissioning teams. Monitor project progress, perform schedule analysis, and identify potential schedule delays or deviations from the baseline plan. Monitor critical path activities and propose mitigation measures to maintain project timelines. Identify potential schedule risks and work collaboratively to develop contingency plans. Review and challenge contractors’ schedules to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual requirements. Provide regular schedule updates, progress reports, and dashboards to senior management and project stakeholders. Lead and mentor a team of planners, ensuring capability development and consistency in planning deliverables. Interface with cost, risk, and contract teams to ensure integrated project performance monitoring. Support risk management processes by identifying potential schedule risks and contributing to mitigation strategies and contingency planning. Review contractors’ reports (monthly, weekly, and daily) and provide comments to ensure they are clear and complete. Recommend improvements where necessary. Produce internal weekly progress reports for management. Adhere to safety and quality protocols in all aspects of planning and execution. Maintain accurate records of schedule changes, updates, and approvals. Provide historical data analysis for project improvement and lessons learned. Requirement: Minimum 15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the oil & gas industry, including onshore gas plant EPCIC projects. Proven track record of completing at least two full project lifecycles for onshore EPCIC projects. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of planners on large-scale projects. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Solid understanding of planning, project controls and risk management processes. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
