Kopi Kenangan is looking for an experienced Project Design Manager to lead our design team and spearhead our next wave of new store openings and renovations! If you have 10–13 years of experience in retail F&B/hospitality design and 4–5 years of leading teams, this is your chance to make a massive impact on a beloved brand. Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline. 10–13 years of experience in retail F&B, coffee chains, cafés, hospitality, or commercial interior design. At least 4–5 years of experience leading design teams. Proven experience managing multiple store openings, renovations, and rollout programs in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of coffee shop and retail store planning, customer flow and barista workflow, back-of-house planning, equipment layouts and seating optimization, mall, street-front, kiosk, standalone, and drive-through store formats. Strong knowledge of interior detailing, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, signage, and MEP coordination. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, or equivalent design software. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, project coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills. Job Role: Lead and manage a team of designers and drafters. Oversee the end-to-end design process for new store openings, renovations, and rollout projects. Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring design quality, timeline, and budget objectives are met. Review and approve design concepts, layouts, technical drawings, material selections, shop drawings, and site implementation. Collaborate closely with Project, Construction, Operations, Procurement, Marketing, landlords, consultants, contractors, and vendors. Provide creative direction while contributing to design development when needed.
