About the job :We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to join our EPCM team supporting the construction of a major Electric Vehicle (EV) Manufacturing Facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost planning, quantity verification, contract administration, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with the engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams, you will help ensure that project costs are effectively monitored, managed, and optimized while maintaining compliance with contractual and client requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large-scale, fast-paced industrial development and work alongside multidisciplinary teams in delivering a world-class manufacturing facility . Key Responsibilitie s:Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirement s.Review and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ), ensuring accuracy and completeness for tendering and construction activitie s.Support the tendering process by preparing cost analyses, evaluating contractor quotations, and providing commercial recommendation s.Monitor project costs against approved budgets and identify potential cost overruns or savings opportunitie s.Review, validate, and certify contractors' progress claims, payment applications, and supporting documentatio n.Assess, quantify, and manage variation orders, change requests, and scope modifications throughout the project lifecycl e.Maintain cost control systems and regularly update project cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projection s.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure cost implications are properly assessed and controlle d.Review procurement packages and subcontract agreements to ensure compliance with project budget and commercial requirement s.Conduct site measurements and quantity verifications to validate completed work and progress claim s.Support contract administration activities, including interpretation of contract terms, correspondence, and dispute avoidanc e.Monitor project commitments, expenditures, and remaining budgets, providing timely reporting to project managemen t.Prepare monthly commercial reports highlighting project financial status, variations, risks, and cost trend s.Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures to protect project profitability and financial objective s.Ensure all quantity surveying activities comply with project procedures, contractual obligations, company standards, and client requirement s. Qualifications & Requiremen ts:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related fie ld.Minimum 5-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost control, or commercial management within industrial, manufacturing, data center, or large-scale construction projec ts.Experience in EPC, EPCM, PMC, or contractor environments is highly preferr ed.Familiarity with FIDIC, lump-sum, remeasurement, and unit-rate contrac ts.Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, cost estimation, and contract administrati on.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost management softwa re.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skil ls.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environme nt.Preferred Experie nceExperience in EV battery manufacturing plants, automotive factories, semiconductor facilities, industrial plants, or large-scale manufacturing projec ts.Experience working with international clients and multidisciplinary project tea ms.Knowledge of procurement processes and construction contract management in EPCM projec ts.
