As a Student Counsellor, you will advise and assist students choosing the right universities in the world and provide accurate information in all aspect both educational and non-educational, including but not limited to: the institutions, the course, the city, study and social life, transportation, accommodation, etc. You will be Involved in promotions, campaign and special event activities such as expo or high school and university edufair. The role requires being comfortable working with students, parents, school counsellors, institutional partners and a wide range of GoStudy International Team Members. Occasional regional and international business trip, will be necessary. Flexibility is required to meet the demands of the post, including evening and weekend work. This role will report to the Associate Manager. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Achieve annual recruitment targets. • Active involvement in lead generating opportunities and events with a focus on conversion. • Provide counselling to prospective students and parents, in occasional coordination with high school counsellors, on UK studies, providing visa and admission information. • Communicating with respective global university. • Plan, organize, and implement university application and visa processing. • Conduct other activities as part of ‘post-application services’ and to maintain relationship with GoStudy International current students & alumni • Ensure students, parents and high school counsellors receive a high level of customer service. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA • Native-level communication in Bahasa and professional-level English language skills both in Writing and Speaking. • Exceptional time management and communication skills. • Experience with customer service. • Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and exceed sales and financial targets. • Strong presentation and public speaking skills. • Recent graduates are welcome to apply. HIGHLY DESIRABLE CRITERIA • Experience working with international students and higher education programmes. • 1 or more years of post-secondary education in the UK, US or Australia • Experience with Database management, CRM and the Microsoft Office Suite.
